Malvern College Qingdao strictly follows the British high school curriculum, offering the internationally recognised A-level qualification. A-Levels are advanced level courses and are the most common high-school/pre-university courses in the England and Wales, providing a stepping stone into top-quality higher education, hence its recognition as the ‘Gold Medal Curriculum’.
The College chooses to run a range of subjects from a choice of over sixty, 3-4 of which are chosen by each student according to their strengths and direction of development. Students are supported in developing an academic profile closely related to their targeted major so that they gain a competitive edge in applications.
A-Level is both a high school curriculum and a college preparatory course, and can be transferred internationally as university credits. The A-level course certificate is accepted by almost all English-speaking universities, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong, opening up global opportunities for further education.
